Brenda has been working at Tina’s Fitness Studio since 2011 and is the head personal trainer and fitness instructor. Brenda has a passion for fitness and teaching classes. She believes there is no better feeling in the world than a good hard sweat!
She studied at the Institute of Holistic Nutrition in Mississauga, Ontario where she became certified as a Nutritional Practitioner. She has a true appreciation for food and a joy of cooking. Her vision is to provide clients with practical means to achieve a balanced life through proper nutrition, physical activity and positive lifestyle choices.
Most recently Brenda added the detox component to her list of services by completing training as a colon hydrotherapist using the Angel of Water. Colon hydrotherapy is effective in aiding in weight loss as well as improving digestion, absorption of nutrients as well as overall increasing energy.
Monika graduated from the University of Ottawa with a degree and upon moving back to Parry Sound she began her fitness journey as a personal training client of both Tina’s and Brenda’s. Over years with having Tina and Brenda as mentors she developed a passion for fitness and started working at the studio in 2014.
Out of a desire to continue her education and expand her knowledge of health and fitness, specifically the physiology of the human body and proper training practices, she decided to complete the CanFit Pro course to become a Certified Personal Training Specialist. She is excited to have started her work as a personal training specialist and looks forward to sharing her knowledge and passion for fitness and wellness one on one with her clients and at the studio!

Claire recently graduated from Queen’s University with a degree in Kinesiology, which she used to become a Certified Personal Trainer with the Canadian Society of Exercise Physiology.
She has taught fitness classes at the Smith School of Business for the past 2 years, in addition to working in rehab settings with the Victorian Order of Nurses and Revved Up Kingston where she worked with individuals with various physical and cognitive disabilities to improve strength and fitness. She has a passion for health and fitness which shows in her classes as well as in her one on one training sessions.

I started practicing yoga in February of 2007 when Tina first started teaching in Parry Sound. I immediately fell in love with the link of breath with flow of poses, and the metal and physical benefits that yoga provided. I have followed Tina as she has developed and grown her business, taking classes at the studio for years. I am teacher by day and am passionate about teaching and getting my students excited about learning. It was only a natural progression for me to move from client to an instructor at the studio and get other studio clients excited about yoga and healthy practice. I am continuously working on developing my practice and growing as an instructor. I have CPTIN yoga specialist, prenatal yoga certification and Mad Dog spin instruction.
