Hi! I’m Tina Haskim, a health & life coach specializing in weight-loss and coaching busy professional women to transform their bodies and energy without strict dieting and giving up the foods they love so they can feel great in their skin & play bigger in all areas of life!
I have been in the health & fitness industries since 2001 (CRAZY), and a business owner for over 10 years now!
I was a personal trainer, fitness instructor & yoga instructor for most of those years, but as time went on I knew I had more to offer my clients then just counting reps. I watched as people & clients got focused on a goal, worked hard to get it, and once they reached the goal they would eventually end up back where they started! Not all of them, but a good majority!
It constantly played on my mind. I had my struggles too with sugar addiction, emotional eating, self-sabotage, as well as weight fluctuations. I felt the frustrations of hating going clothes shopping and not feeling good in my own skin. Looking in the mirror, and crying. Not feeling good in my body and therefore not wanting to be intimate with my partner. It sucked. I hated feeling shitty & bad about myself. I hated myself for not being able to just figure it the F&%! out.
Eventually though, I did figure it out! And that is why I became a Health & Life Coach because I realized that what people were missing was the right system, the right support and the right accountability.
Having someone to meet to put you through a sweat inducing workout is great, and you need that! But I wanted to help people create lasting lifestyle change that made them feel great and was easy to maintain!
I was tired of promoting my clients to push through, work hard and beat themselves up to get their goal….that didn’t work for me, and that is when I created my coaching program, which helps people to create new habits which they enjoy, without giving up the things they love, so they can reach their goal and ACTUALLY maintain it.
Deprivation, fad diets, restricting calories and over exercising never worked for me! All of those methods resulted in powerful triggers to turn to bingeing, emotional eating & self-sabotage and that is why I created the “Journey” coaching program, offered in 90-Day, 6-month & 1-year formats.
In my personal journey I had struggles to overcome, failures to forget about and A LOT of limiting beliefs to transform! But I made it, and I know you can too! There was a time I was controlled by food, my emotions, what other people thought of me and the endless cycle of self-sabotage, but now I am free of that. Now I live a life of purpose, ease and happiness. I’m not obsessed with food anymore or how much to exercise and what should I eat and how much? Now it is just easy. It took some time, because all change does! The difference was this time I didn’t “effort” the change out of myself, I didn’t rely on fad diets, books and google to tell me what to do, I tried a new way, and that is how I coach now, because it helped me create a life I love that is easily maintainable and provides the body that gives me confidence and provides the energy I need to juggle all the balls in my daily life and over time it effortlessly became “simply what I do” and that is what I teach and coach my clients and that is why they are having massive success now!

What is a Health & Life Coach anyway? A health & life coach is a generic term for a person who counsels and encourages clients on their personal health & life challenges & journey. The way I like to say it is I am basically your unbiased, no-bullshit bestie who will pump you up, tell you when you’re wrong, and always help you see the bigger picture in whatever you’re struggling with.
Why I love coaching? Simply put, I feel called by the universe to do it. It gives me more energy than 10 cups of coffee whenever I have a session with a client. I LOVE helping my clients to design the life of their dreams, watch their confidence grow, the love for their bodies bloom and witness them getting closer to their purpose and their most authentic self.
If you are ready to shed negative thought patterns, and excess weight that is bringing you down (literally and figuratively), and bring your happiness to the next level, then coaching is for you! My job as your coach is to help you to find a path to become the person you’ve dreamed of being, the person that you’ve always known you could be. The best part about coaching is that everything is centred around you- what do you need to work on? What do you want? That’s where we will start. My style of coaching? I am your light-hearted, non-judgemental, tough love coach, who loves to laugh. I believe in you, even when you don’t. I hold you as powerful and capable of achieving your goals and your greatness and I’ll make you stick with it. I have a never give up policy! Giving up is for people who are fine settling for mediocrity. I do not believe in mediocrity, nor will I ever accept it. Mediocrity is a trick because it is easy. Fleeting relief can be felt there, but true happiness or contentedness do not reside there.
My promise: I will never bullshit you or enable you. I will help you find your truth and become the person you want to be. I won’t let you back down or flake out! And I’ll provide you constant love, encouragement, accountability and I will absolutely not judge you. This is your journey, it is not my place to tell you what’s right for you.
